ADA & the Library
The Library strives to provide services to all patrons. If you or someone you know enjoys reading, but has difficulty seeing, the Library offers the following:Three vision machines to enlarge reading material. Two are for at home use, and one is at the Library for patrons to try. Interested? Call or visit Kate. This service is sponsored by the Thompson Lions Club.
Books for the blind This is a free service offered by the State of Connecticut. The Library serves as a demonstration site, come see the equipment and tapes. Visit with Janine to learn more about the program.

1. Log in with your library barcode number & create a free account with NetLibrary.
2. Select the books you'd like to listen to.
3. Request the player - forms are available at the Library Desk.
Library staff will take care of the rest. Please note -- this service is available to Thompson adult patrons whose account is in good standing with the Library. A $10 deposit is required at time of check out.
