Bulletin Board Policy
The Library provides space on its public bulletin board for announcements and notices of local community events. This service is in keeping with the Library’s overall philosophy of providing access to a wide range of information sources.

Children's Library Card Policy
A child of any age, including infants, may obtain a library card by having his/her parent fill out an application card.

Circulation Policy
A library card MUST be presented at time of check out in order to borrow materials.

Code of Conduct Policy
While everyone has an equal right to access library services and facilities, no person has the right to interfere with the ability of others to use and enjoy library resources, services and facilities.

Internet Use Permission Form
The Internet is a vast online resource for limitless information. Most of this information is useful and interesting, and parents can feel very comfortable having their children learn from the Internet.

Public Access Internet & Computer Use Policy
The Thompson Public Library is pleased to offer free public access to the Internet. A valid Library card in good standing is required.

Teacher Card Policy
The Library offers a card with an extended loan period for use by local educators in an effort to share resources, support the educational curriculum and to encourage our youngest patrons to read.

Wireless Network Policy
Free wireless internet access is available throughout the Thompson Public Library & Louis P Faucher Community Center building.

Laptop Loan Program Policy
Laptop computers are available for loan to patrons in good standing. A library card must be presented at check out and the Laptop liability form must be filled out or on file. Click here to view the Laptop Liability Form
