Computers & WiFi

Free wireless internet access is available throughout the entire building. Multiple machines are available for use at the library, including: printers, computers, and ereaders.

History Room

A collection of local resources available for in library use by request.

Homebound Delivery Service

A free service for Thompson residents who are unable to visit the Library.


The Library strives to provide services to all patrons, including those with disabilities. For those with vision issues, we recommend our Audiobooks on CD and Large Print book collections. Borrow your favorite authors, New York Times Bestsellers, and discover new favorites.

Meeting Rooms

Room reservations are managed by the Library. Non-profit organizations and groups may request a room at the Thompson Library/Louis P. Faucher Community Center in advance using the online reservation system.

Notary Service

As of September 1, 2015 the Library now offers Notary Service to patrons. There is no fee for this service. The service is provided during the Notary’s hours only. Please call ahead to make sure the Notary is available. Please do not sign the document ahead of time and be sure to bring photo identification.
